GOT IT! Let’s roll!!

Once we were happy with the feel of the pre production prototypes, we settled on core thickness, flex pattern and glass lay-up and we are off and running with the production line. All our hard work, picky high standards of what we wanted from a TONA board was worth it. We have found the perfect blend to reproduce the feel of the original custom TONA pop.

Here the graphics are being produced before being added to the heat compression mold.

as soon as u guys have a 142,, I´ll get one

  2. daved says:

    142 please!

The 139 rides big… If you rode a Cabrinha custom 144 the 139 POP will be well suited… But we our sales go good we will offer something bigger…

    I don’t get it!!!
If your sales goes good, then you will offer something bigger?

So all you have said falls apart. Does not make sense .
Seems to me that the size mambo jumbo is pure hype.

I don’t understand your comment. sorry.. The bigger size is a very small part of the market. It costs to make an additional mold so with the money we get from the regular sales we will reinvest into the larger mold and offer the additional size. The larger size will cater for the guys currently riding larger than 144….. not may riders out there but they have been asking… I hope that answers your questions… As far as ‘mambo jumbo pure hype’… have you ridden the POP 138? guess not…… after you ride it, then let me know if you comment still stands….

I wish someone would offer a hybrid kite/wake style board. A light board with slightly less rocker than a wake style board but with a lot more rocker than a traditional kite board.

I ride a Cabrinha custom and the only down side is its weight.

Not sure I agree with your logic regarding fins though. Fins become less necessary when riding super smooth water. But…for most of us who have to ride chop…the fins make a huge difference. I’ve been powered up heels dug in and skipped across the water with my small fins. I hate having to put big ass fins on but unfortunately they are necessary if I want to go fully powered and digging in the edge.

Have you tied the POP? We have a lot of cross over cable and kite riders loving it…
Also, regarding fins….. again the combo with the channels and the elongated but shallow fins makes riding chop easier than most flexy boards with large fins… try a POP….
